Storyline

Kundan (RomeshSharma) is the sole son of a wealthy father (Gajanan Jagirdar), but he maintains terrible company, specifically Ajit (Dheeraj Kumar), who gets him drunk and takes him to brothels. Kundan becomes accustomed to attending brothels and develops feelings for Gulabbai (Aruna Irani), much to the chagrin of the brothel madame, Ratnabai (Chand Usmani). Rajesh is another of Kundan’s friends and his father’s employment; he is clean and sober, although Kundan typically ignores and mocks him. Rajesh meets Kamini (Zarina Wahab), the lone daughter of a wealthy man, Shankerlal (Pradeep Kumar), and they both fall in love. Kamini’s stemp-mother wants her to marry Ajit, and Shankerlal dislikes Rajesh since he knows Rajesh’s mother is a prostitute. Will Kamini’s feelings for Rajesh remain the same, despite his parentage? Is Rajesh’s mother a prostitute in real life?
