Justine Greening Bio
Justin Greening is a former British politician of the Conservative Party. She served as Secretary of State for Education from 2016 to 2018 and as a Member of Parliament for Putney from 2005 to 2019. Moreover, she served in the Cameron Government as Economic Secretary to the Treasury and Secretary of State for Transport. After that, she was appointed as Secretary of State for International Development in September 2012. In the May Government, she also served as Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities from 2016 to 2018 but in 2018, she resigned as Education Secretary in the January 2018 Cabinet reshuffle.
She was born on 30 April 1969 in Rotherham, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. Currently, she is 52 years old as of 2021.

Early life and Education
She completed early education at Oakwood Comprehensive School. After that in 1990, she went to the University of Southampton to study Business, Economics, and Accounting and she graduated with a first-class Honours degree. In 2003, she earned an executive MBA from the London Business School.
She started her career as a trained and qualified accountant and worked as an accountant or finance manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, GlaxoSmithKline, and Centrica.
Parliamentary career
At the 2005 general election, she gained the seat of Putney from the Labour party by defeating Tony Coleman who has held that seat for Labour since 1997. She was the youngest female Conservative MP in the House of Commons at that time. In January 2009, she was promoted to Shadow minister for London and she focused on transport and local community benefits.
From 2010 to 2011, she was the Economic Secretary to the Treasury and in 2011 she was appointed as Secretary of State for Transport. In 2012, she became Secretary of State for International Development. Then in 2016, she was appointed as Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities by replacing Nicky Morgan in both roles.
In September 2019, she announced that she would not stand as a Conservative MP in the next general election, and then on the same day, she was among those 21 Conservative MPs who had withdrawn the whip after voting against the government. Then at the 2019 general election, she sat as an independent MP.
Personal life
In 2016, she revealed on Twitter that she was in a ‘happy same-sex relationship’. Previously, she was also in a relationship with Mark Clarke who was a former Conservative parliamentary candidate who was expelled from the party because of involvement in a bullying scandal.
